    Why not learn about a new culture or religion? Or enrol to study something that has always interested you. If you have never painted, pick up a paintbrush. If you love crossword puzzles, try Sudoku. Perhaps learn computer skills or acquaint yourself with social media. Be a mentor to someone. Challenge yourself enough to learn and have fun at the same time, but not so much that you get frustrated and quit.

    Active mental activity is as crucial to your emotional health as it is to your physical wellbeing.
